POST TITLE: Receivable Assistant Accountant

DEPARTMENT: Safes

LOCATION: Lagos (West Africa Office) 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 
 
1. Follow up with payments and reconcile accounts with the key account and should be able to achieve targets of receivables
 
2. Should be familiar with the stakeholders responsible for project financing and receivable in the key account
 
3. Report to the relevant department management on the progress of the funds received and that pending
 
4. Work closely with the key account managers responsible for the Account in both the sales and service unit of the account

 
REQUIREMENTS:
 
1. Must be computer literate with proficiency in MS word, MS excel
Should be female
 
2. Able to work independently
 
3. Minimum of B.Sc qualification in Business Administration, Economics or Accounting
Resident in Lagos
 
4. Minimum of 2 years finance or Accountancy work experience in a medium sized organization
 
5. An addition of 2 years experience in debt recovery or funds collection roles in a reputable organization
 
6. Should have basic telecoms sales and operator knowledge
 
7. Will have knowledge and previous experiences in dealing with some Old generation (First Bank) and new generation banks
 
8. High level of interpersonal skills and have excellent customer service experience
 
9. Appearance is very relevant. School speak well dress appropriately
 
10. Ability to interpret and write reports when necessary
 
11. Should not be more than 35 years

 
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: 
 
1. Experience in a Telecom Engineering Company, Telecoms Vendor or ICT is preferred and is of top-priority,
 
2. Bachelor Degree in Electrical, Computer Science or telecommunications Engineering or relevant Degree as applicable
 
3. Good Customer service orientation, communication skills, good team spirit and has ability to work independently
 
4. Should be ready to work under pressure in all kind of working condition.
 
5. Proficient in Microsoft office, (word, excel and PowerPoint)
 
6. Applicants should be open to learning new skills and technology
 
7. Self-motivated, flexible, enthusiastic and fluent in English both oral and written
 
8. Must be ready for international project to the other African countries.
 
9. Successful applicants should be Goal-oriented with good interpersonal and communication skills, and be a very good team player
 
10. The successful applicant should be good at information gathering and analysis
