CANDIDATE'S PROFILE:
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- B.sc or HND degree in Mechanical Engineering or any related engineering discipline from a reputable institution (minimum 2nd class lower);
- 10 -12 years relevant experience in a process industry;
- Knowledge of general mechanical/electrical engineering, of industrial automation and of automatic operation system;
- In – depth knowledge of Computer Monitored Maintenance System (CMMS);

- The ideal candidate will report to the Maintenance Manager and will be summarily responsible for managing all maintenance operations in order to increase reliability factor, the efficiency and effectiveness of the mechanical maintenance team and decrease the cost per ton of production.

- Contributes to/participate in the short/long term investment plans concerning the plant.

OBJECTIVES:
- To report to the Maintenance Manager and will have the major responsibility of studying recurring problems of equipment reliability and to proffer solutions;
- Manage and improve instrumentation maintenance procedures and methods;
- Ensures that the maintenance practices comply with group standards.
- Monitors the equipment daily and provides structured feedback for recording of data for analysis and reference;
- Assist in carrying out Root Cause Failure Analysis.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- B.sc or HND Degree in Electrical/ Electronics Engineering from a reputable institution. (Minimum 2nd class lower);
- 8 – 10 years experience in electrical, instrumentation and control preferably in a process industry company;
- Good knowledge of maintenance engineering;
