We are World Class Manufacturing Company with a modern automated Fabrication and Galvanising Steel Plant in Nigeria. We currently require the services of experienced and articulate candidates to fill the positions below:


REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCY:

1. Bachelors degree in Purchasing  and Supply or ,
 
2. Minimum of 3-5 years experience as a purchasing officer in a Manufacturing concern,
 
3. MS Word and Excel Skills,
 
4. Strong negotiating and organizational skills,
 
5. Good problem solving skills.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Coordinate with suppliers and end – users with respect to selection, purchase delivery and installation of equipment,
 
2. Active participation in the areas of preparation and issuance of enquiries, administration of bids, tenders or quotations, negotiation expediting and delivery of purchases,
 
3. Procurement of Goods and materials for all company’s functions,
 
4. Contribute in ensuring that correct quantity and high quality materials are purchased,
 
5. Assist in the maintenance of adequate inventory levels through the standardization of products and scheduled supplier reordering to ensure uninterrupted delivery of supplies,
 
6. Evaluate inventory efficiencies with the Plant Managers, CTO and other personnel,
 
7. Resolve invoice discrepancies/disputes in conjunction with Accounts Payable,
 
8. Ensure no stock-out of petroleum products and Lubricants in the factory,
 
9. Assist in design and set up of SAP ERP,
 
10. Update and submit daily accurate and current LPO status report.


POST TITLE: (2 Nos.)

REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCY:

1. Bachelors degree in Structural Engineering or related Held,
 
2. Three to Five (3 -5) years experience in engineering design and drafting, preferably in the Steel industry,
 
3. Advanced knowledge of design and drafting techniques, engineering drawing and computer-aided drafting and drawing (CADD),
 
4. Knowledge of manufacturing, including machining, fabricating and assembly processes, planning basic geometric dimensioning and tolerance and metallurgy’s in a manufacturing engineering company,
 
5. Have HSE awareness and able to demonstrate and communicate at all levels and show leadership skills,
 
6. Good knowledge of regulatory standards and codes for relevant sectors (telecom, power, oil and gas, construction etc),
 
7. Awareness of general engineering and production safety requirements,
 
8. Ability to generate blueprint drawings related to production layouts and plans,
 
9. Advanced knowledge of Auto CAD.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Decide application to use for drawing – 20 or 30 modeling,
 
2. Create drawings (shop drawing and erection drawing) using CAD,
 
3. Create and debug CNC programs on a basic level using existing CAM system,
 
4. Work with engineering team to ensure customers detailed structural designs are in compliance with company specifications and operating philosophy,
 
5. Carry out other duties assigned.
