POST TITLE: Trade Centre Officer
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform documentary verification and analytical processing of trade documents based on company rules and business,
- Check the completeness and validity of information in the documents based on trade knowledge and expertise,
- Work with the team to ensure achievement of productivity, quality and services delivery targets in a back-office function,
- Adhere to Quality Management Systems (QMS), work processes and procedures, Company’s policies and codes of conduct.
REPORTING TO: Operations Manager and Team Supervisor
JOB PROFILE:
- With university degree level or equivalent qualification (e.g. B.Sc/HND) in the following fields:
- Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology,
- Electronics and Electrical Engineering,
- Economics, Statistics, Accountancy, Banking and Finance,
- Business Administration and Management courses a Trade experience in import/export procedures and trade documentation,
- Foreign language skills, an advantage.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels,
- Computer literate (familiar with MS Window applications) and other software applications,
- Can work on weekend and on rotation shift basis,
- Detail and results-oriented,
- Act quickly and decisively, works well under pressure,
- Experience of managing and leading teams, an advantage.
