THE ORGANIZATION:

Large International NGO  is seeking for qualified candidates to fill the positions below for the flagship US Government supported 5 year malaria prevention and treatment project that supports the National Malaria Strategic Plan, NMCP, and interventions in 7 Nigerian states. The project increases the quality, access, and uptake of malaria control interventions including ITNs, ACTs, RDTs, and IPTp. In addition to scale-up and delivery, the project strengthens government capacity, employs behavior change communications mobilizes communities and engages the private sector. Positions based in Abuja.

POST TITLE:   Chief of Party

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS:
  • The Chief of Party provides overall vision and direction to the project and is responsible for all aspects of project performance: technical, financial, contractual, operational, personnel, and donor and stakeholder relations. The successful candidate will have proven expertise managing complex multimillion dollar donor-funded (preferably USAID) health projects in developing countries, including Nigeria. S/he will be a leading public health figure with experience working in and/or with the public health sector in Nigeria; and expertise in institutional capacity building with government, private sector, and NGO partners.

POST TITLE:   M&E Advisor

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS:
  • The M&E Advisor oversees all project research, monitoring, and evaluation activities. S/he monitors and evaluates project and government interventions, and develops frameworks and processes to use and analyze data to inform evidence-based planning and decision-making. The candidate must be an M&E expert who has led research, M&E for donor funded health projects.
Strong preference given to candidates who are Nigerian nationals.
