National Bureau of Statistics Jobs in Nigeria: Recruitment for Statistician Grade II, Statistician Grade I, Senior Statistician

As part of efforts to repositioning National Bureau of Statistics for better service delivery, applications are invited from interested and suitably qualified candidates to fill the vacant positions in the Bureau and Federal School of Statistics:

POST TITLE:   Statistician Grade II

SALARY SCALE: Conraiss 7 – Job Code: STATS II

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Candidates must have First degree in Statistics as a special subject  from a recognized University or,
• First degree in Social Science or Mathematics from a recognized University plus a Post-Graduate Diploma in Statistics or,
• A pass in the Final examination of the Institute Statisticians, London.

POST TITLE:   Statistician Grade I

SALARY SCALE: Conraiss 8 Job Code: STATS I

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Candidates must have First degree in Statistics as a special subject  from a recognized University or,
• First degree in Social Science or Mathematics from a recognized University plus a Post-Graduate Diploma in Statistics or,
• A pass in the  Final  examination of the  Institute Statisticians, London.
• Should have at least 3 years post-qualification cognate experience or,
• Masters degree plus at least one year post-qualification cognate experience.

POST TITLE:   Senior Statistician

SALARY SCALE: Conraiss 9 – Job Code: SNR STATS

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Candidates must have First degree in Statistics as a special subject  from a recognized University or,
• First degree in Social Science or Mathematics from a recognized University plus a Post-Graduate Diploma in Statistics or,
• A pass in the Final  examination of the  Institute Statisticians, London.
• Should have at least 6 years post-qualification cognate experience or,
• Masters degree plus at least 4 years post-qualification cognate experience
• Doctorate degree from a recognized University plus at least 1 year post-qualification cognate experience.
