An International Company Job Vacancies: Recruitment for Senior Subsea Supervisor, IT Specialist, Rig Master, OTA

An international ultra-deepwater drilling contractor currently in the process of mobilization to Nigeria to embark on drilling  campaign in the Nigeria waters is in dare need of Nigeria candidates to fill the below senior technical positions on the drillship:

POST TITLE:   Senior Subsea Supervisor

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Must be a Nigerian with at least ten years offshore experience in the Marine department of a ship or as an alternate seven years minimum in a related Subsea position with an offshore drilling contractor.

BASIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan and Supervise the Maintenance of Well Control related equipment including the BOP, Control System, Marine Riser and Tensioning System, the CMC/AHC, Choke Manifold and the High Pressure Air System onboard. Ensure equipment is maintained in a safe and reliable condition and repair if required, while ensuring that only DEM tolls and parts are used.

POST TITLE:   IT Specialist

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Must be a Nigerian with at least six years professional experience in the Drilling or service industry or as an alternate four years minimum in a related with an offshore drilling contractor.

BASIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Install, maintain and repair all IT systems including VSAT, servers, workstations, printers, software and telecommunications. Monitor and thoroughly document the software and hardware changes performed   by third parties to equipment systems such as the Drilling Instrumentation and Control systems.

POST TITLE:   The Rig Master

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Must be a Nigeria with at least fifteen years offshore experience in the drilling industry or ten years experience in a similar position with an offshore drilling contractor.

BASIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assume the required regulatory responsibility to exercise effective control and efficient operation of the vessel with due regard for the safety of the crew, the vessel, its content and the protection of the environment.

POST TITLE:   OTA

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Must be a Nigerian with at least Ten years experience in Quality and HSE leadership in a drilling company or six years experience in a deep offshore drilling company in similar role.

BASIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Act as a Quality and HSE leader ensuring the ongoing identification of hazards and the implementation of controls to manage the associated risks with a special focus on Permit to Work and Isolation procedures.
