Our client, an Indigenous Oil and Gas Company involved in development of an oil field in the Niger Delta region of Nigeria, plans to develop its production facilities consisting of a flow station and gas plant, oil and gas flow lines, pipelines and water disposal system. Consequently, there is an opportunity to grow with a new and dynamic company for professionals required to fill the below vacant positions in the Company
POST TITLE: Planning and Scheduling Engineer (Ref. F3)
LOCATION: Akwa Ibom State
JOB DUTIES:
- Will be responsible for developing appropriate methodology and sequence optimal utilisation of resources to execute field development plan or projects. Plan and monitor performance against baseline for activities covering entirefield development, making planning assumptions and adjustments. Reports to Project Director & Asset Manager.
SPECIFIC QUALIFICATION:
- 1st Degree in an Engineering Discipline with a minimum of 8 years in E& P business; Competence in the use of professional planning packages, Working knowledge of scheduling programs- Primavera.
POST TITLE: Production Operations Planner (Ref. F4)
JOB LOCATION: Akwa Ibom State
JOB DUTIES:
- Will lead the planning for sustainable production base multi-year and annual production, work programmes and budgets;
- Drive performance and reporting processes within the Operations Division and interface with NNPC COMD and other relevant Government Agencies to secure monthly crude lifting approvals and reporting to the Genera Manager Operations.
SPECIFIC QUALIFICATION :
- An Engineering Degree or related subject and a minimum of 7-10 years experience in oil and gas production operations or maintenance;
- A deep understanding in integrated Oil/Gas Development and Hydrocarbon Life Cycle management and the fundamental value drivers.
GENERAL QUALIFICATION:
- All candidates must have excellent communications, organisational, well developed leadership, inter-personal problem solving and analytical skills plus knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite software.
