POST TITLE:   PROJECT MANAGER

Our client aims to be a leader in the fabrication of drilling and production platforms, as well as other specialized structures in the oil and gas industry in West Africa. Their services include provision of full range of design, construction and maintenance services to their clients. These services include the fabrication of offshore and inshore platforms (hulls, jackets, topsides, caissons, and piles), living quarters, electrical buildings, process vessels, skids and small modules, as well as corrosion protection services of structures and offshore hook-ups.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

GENERAL PURPOSE:

To be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

1. Lead the planning and implementation of project
2. Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
3. Define project tasks and resource requirements
4. Develop full scale project plans
5. Assemble and coordinate project staff
6. Manage project budget
7. Manage project resource allocation
8. Plan and schedule project timelines
9. Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
10. Provide direction and support to project team

JOB REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION  AND EXPERIENCE:

1. Qualification in project management or equivalent
2. Must have experiences specific to sub-sea pipe laying and remediation, topsides installation and production platforms reconstruction in offshore locations.
3. Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management.
4. Knowledge of project management techniques and tools

POST TITLE:   PLANNING & REPORTING ENGINEER

JOB DESCRIPTION:

1. Development of the Project Summary schedule
2. Development of the Project Master Schedule.
3. Manage / coordinate the Level 2 integrated schedule
4. Coordinate with the Package Planning engineers the development and integration of the onshore commissioning schedule as well as the offshore hook up and commissioning schedules.
5. Assist in the review and analysis of CONTRACTORS Scheduling and planning documents (procedures,…)
6. Provide assistance in progress monitoring and control Project activities
7. Identify potential delays, analyse and issue proposed corrective actions as required
8. Prepare the Project Planning documents.
9. Prepare the weekly report
10. Elaborate monthly progress report

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

QUALIFICATION: BSc. Degree or HND in Engineering, Construction Management, or Quantity Surveying with experience in the oil & gas industry (Substantial experience in another industry will be considered on a case by case basis).
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: 

1. 5-10 years experience Oil and Gas – Offshore / Onshore Industry or similar Engineering environment. This position requires a professional with good technical, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
2. Demonstrable hands-on competency in using Primavera P3e or P3 Project Planner, as well as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
3. Proven ability to interface with internal / external specialists, other disciplines, contractor personnel, Company personnel, other Company project teams, and Company operations personnel at the existing facilities. 
4. Strong communication skills including ability to communicate effectively with contractors and management as necessary.

POSITION: Shutdown Co-ordinator 

THE ROLE/DUTIES: 
  • Prepare the calls for tender and contracts specific to the shutdown for ECP activities;
  • Prepare marked up drawings – isometric, P&IDs etc to clearly show the scope of work and the battery limits; 
  • Set up the organization using the construction contractors, the necessary team to manage the shutdown; 
  • Develop contract scope for shutdown activities, as required; 
  • Perform clash analyses for the purpose of enhancing safety, improving quality, improving schedule, and reducing cost; 
  • Develop detailed work packs for assigned area of responsibility utilizing agreed activity norms, work pack guidelines / templates / tools; 
  • Issue early enough, an integrated planning with manpower requirement for the shutdown; 
  • Monitor field execution progress and report progress for the purpose of project monitoring and evaluation;
  • Follow up with workshop fabrication works in conjunction with ECP QA/QC and ensure that all project deliverables are prepared, signed off and easily accessible by the Field Operations team;
  • Organise contractors’ equipment for pre-mobilization inspection by liaising with HSE for pre-mobilization inspection activities;
  • Organise contractors equipment/materials load out and personnel mobilization early enough to ensure the completion of preparatory works;
  • Supervise shutdown preparation and operations;
  • Comply with the requirements defined by the Project integrated shutdown steering committee;
  • Liaise with Field operations (Onshore and Offshore) with respect to the assigned ECP shutdown activities, risk assessment and meetings;
  • Produce the shutdown reports;
  • Provide feedback as learning curve for subsequent shutdown activities. 
REQUIREMENTS: 
  • B. Sc./B. Eng. (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or Oil & Gas Engineering.) with 5 - 10 years in FPSO shutdown coordination and management; 
  • Project Engineering & Management skills with Field Operations knowledge; 
  • Self starter, disciplined with above effective communication skills; 
  • Formal qualifications waived in lieu of proven campaign experience; 
  • Good knowledge of MS Office tools.
