Our client is a large building material manufacturing organization with state of the art plant located in the south-south part of Nigeria, it is currently expanding its production capacity in order to remarkably Increase its market share. To achieve its goal and sustain it, it is seeking to complement its pool of talents by employing highly organized, proactive and innovative personnel to fill the post below:

JOB TITLE: Store Manager

JOB SPECIFICATION:

1. To plan optimal strategies for receiving and issuing materials/parts for smooth plant operation,

2. To ensure that materials and parts are received and issued within the company’s standard procedures,
 

3. To ensure necessary precautions are taken to secure goods in the stores/warehouse against loss.
 

4. To ensure effective and efficient management of manpower, process and stock control, To regularly update the stock control system and working procedures,
 

5. To plan for future storage capacity and periodic check of existing facilities in order to keep them to good condition,
 

6. To monitor store operation and maintain work/material  distribution equity to achieve the set productivity target,
 

7. To participate in the recruitment and selection exercise for the store,

8. To ensure continuous training and development of store personnel and also put in place a succession plan,
 

9. To ensure security, health and safety standards are in place in the store environment,

REQUIREMENTS:
 

1. Candidate must possess B.Sc, HND, in Mechanical or  Electrical Engineering. Professional certificate in store management would be an added advantage
 

2. Must be computer literate and conversant with Autocard
 

3. Must possess good analytical, motivational and leadership skills
 

4. Must be able to effectively delegate duties and transfer knowledge
 

5. Must be conversant with store software and modern inventory management techniques
 

6. Must be able to work under pressure  with timely delivery on assignments
 

7. At least 7 years  cognate experience  in manufacturing/cement industry with at  least 4 years experience in supply chain and  ERP systems.
