Our client is a newly established indigenous newspaper publishing company with head office in Lagos, incorporated under the laws of Federal Republic of Nigeria, the company also provides a wide range of other mass media services such as magazines, textbooks, trade books, journals, amongst others.

THE CANDIDATES:
The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting, analyzing and interpreting data.
Specifically the candidate will:
1. Ensure integrity and correct interpretation of all research information.
2. Gather data on competitors and analyze their prices, sales, and method of marketing and distribution.
3. Conduct research on marketing strategies, collaborating with marketing professionals.
4. Measure the effectiveness of marketing, advertising, and communications programs and strategies.
5. Evaluate methods and procedures for collecting data (such as surveys, opinion polls, or questionnaires) or arrange to obtain existing data.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & ATTRIBUTES:

1. Relevant academic qualification from a reputable institution.
2. Minimum of five (5) years’ relevant experience in a similar function.
3. Strong quantitative, research and analytical skills.
4. Good knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of research analysis.
5. Good report writing and presentation skills and a working knowledge of MS Office tools.
6. Excellent interpersonal skills, particularly relationship building and networking skills.

THE CANDIDATE:
The successful candidate will work closely with the editorial team and handle the production of publication materials such as newspapers, journals, magazines, text books and trade books.
Specifically the candidate will:
1. Plan, co-ordinate and execute the production plans,
2. Oversee the production process, manage the budget and monitor product standards and implement quality-control programs,
3. Work closely with client service delivery team, the creative and development teams to establish and document key client and agency deadlines for each publication,
4. Coordinate the activities of the graphic artists, photography, paste up, and typography personnel to prepare appropriate advertisements for publication.

1. A good first degree or its equivalent in any related discipline from a reputable institution.
2. Minimum of five (5) years’ relevant experience in a media publishing company.
3. Experience in writing, editing, indexing manuscripts and producing manuals.
4. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities against timelines.
5. Demonstrated communication, presentation, interpersonal and negotiation skills.

1. The successful candidates will be responsible for producing visual solutions, using a mix of creative skills and commercial awareness suitable to the communication needs.
2. The candidates will be responsible for creating designs, concepts, and sample layouts based on knowledge of layout principles and aesthetic design concepts.
Specifically they will:
1. Analyze, plan and create visual solutions.
2. Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts based on knowledge of layout principles and aesthetic design concepts.
3. Use innovation to redefine a design brief and meet the constraints of cost, time and client.
4. Develop design briefs by gathering information and data to clarify design issues.

1. A good first degree in fine art or any related discipline from a reputable institution.
2. Minimum of three (3) years’ hands-on experience.
3. Knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods.
4. Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
5. Proficiency in a wide range of media tools, including photography and computer aided design.
