The Bank is currently looking for a Senior Internal Auditor to join the Internal Audit Function in order to strengthen its capacity to cope with the rapid and dynamic growth of the bank.

 
POST TITLE: Senior Internal Auditor

REQUIREMENTS:
 
1. University degree /HND in Accounting or Finance, Business Administration, or other relevant discipline,
 
2. A minimum of 5 years of work experience within the Internal Audit Function of a Financial Institution or external audit company,
 
3. Holder of the ACA/ACCA certificate or any other recognized professional Accounting/Auditing certification,
 
4. Conversant with all relevant financial laws and external regulations as well as audit standards and best practices,
 
5. Have a good knowledge of local Accounting Standards and international Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS),
 
6. Demonstrate a pro-active ability to accurately identify problems and risks, to systematically and logically analyze information and propose solutions,
 
7. Honest person with very high integrity and independence also observing professional ethics when executing his/her duties,
 
8. Effective oral and written communication including cooperation across departments whilst maintaining discretion, confidentiality and focus,
 
9. Computer literacy (Word, Excel, etc.),
 
10. Willingness to travel to customer sites and bank’s branches in Nigeria,
 
RESPONSIBILITIES: 
As Senior Internal Auditor, your main responsibilities will include:
 
1. Assist the Head of Internal Audit with the preparation of the Annual Risk Assessment, Annual Audit Plan and Budget,
 
2. Performing and supervising audit assignments of the different activities of the bank,
 
3. Pro-actively develop new audit programs, working papers and techniques,
 
4. Support the Head of Internal Audit in fulfilling training and development needs.
