JOB TITLE: Partners
JOB PURPOSE:
The Partner has overall responsibility for achieving team’s goals and growth plans. In addition, the Partner has ultimate responsibility for employee and client satisfaction for the team.
Opportunities are available in the following functions:
Assurance (Statutory Audit/ Accounting)
Advisory (Performance Improvement / Risk Management).
Transaction Advisory (Due diligence, M&A Advisory, etc).
Tax.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
LEADERSHIP:
1. Conducting team’s strategic planning process to refine the firm’s mission, vision and values and assess its current state.
2. Finalizing objectives &financial plans for the team and ensuring that they are met
3. Acting as the primary partner interface, holding managers responsible for their specific goals, responsibilities and behavior.
4. Working with the group to review and commit to the products and services that will serve as the firm’s core and specialty services.
5. Evaluating and overseeing business expansion opportunities, including merger and acquisition opportunities.
6. Assisting direct reports with setting and meeting their goals,
MARKETING/SALES:
1. Managing strategic vendor relations and vendor contracts,
2. Developing and gaining buy-in to the firm’s market positioning, messaging and annual marketing plan and assisting those assigned to implement it as needed,
3. Developing alliances with 3rd parties,
4. Approving the team’s; calendar of events,
5. Reviewing the team/firm’s sales pipeline, helping refine the sales process and assisting in closing engagements, as needed (i.e. presentations),
6. Reviewing the all prospective clients to ensure good fit and accept clients,
7. Reviewing and approving proposals to clients.
CLIENT SERVICE:
1. Managing his/her assigned clients,
2. Handling escalated client concerns as warranted.
HUMAN RESOURCES:
1. Approving all new team position descriptions, new hires, promotions and any disciplinary action, including firing of employees,
2. Reviewing and approving annual performance reviews before they are delivered to team members,
3. Reviewing and approving career roadmaps and compensation plans for his/her assigned staff,
4. Participating in the recruiting process for Directors, manager and other candidates, as required.
RISK MANAGEMENT:
Ensuring the team/firm is protected against risk including managing the firm’s insurance and legal interface.
REQUIREMENTS:
3. Minimum of 15 years of experience managing client services teams and/or sale within a professional service firm or other equivalent experience (A rich Banking experience & contacts at top management level in private and public sector organizations are added advantage)
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills (public speaking skills a plus).
5. Excellent understanding, comprehension and ability to articulate various business processes,
6. Strong leadership, project management and team building skills.
7. Ideal candidates will currently be functioning Partner, Director or Senior Manager in a well structured professional service firm,
